Communicator at Västtrafik

About the role

As a communicator with us, you will work closely with the operations on both operational and strategic communication issues. You will plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts, produce content, and develop our communication channels. You will also provide qualified advice on communication matters to colleagues within Västtrafik.

You are part of our editorial team and contribute to communication aimed at all our target groups. However, your main focus will be on one of our prioritized target groups – the approximately 9,000 people working at our partner companies who carry out traffic on our behalf. They are the ones who meet travelers every day under the Västtrafik brand. Communication with this target group often occurs through the partner companies' own channels and via their communicators, managers, and other key personnel. Therefore, the role involves close collaboration with several partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• long- and short-term communication planning
• producing, ordering, distributing, and following up on communication in owned and earned channels
• driving and developing collaboration with our partner companies on communication issues

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in media and communication or equivalent
• several years of experience working both operationally and strategically with communication – from planning to implementation and follow-up
• a strong communicative competence and enjoys a role where you work both operationally and strategically
• experience in ordering and coordinating communication production, such as content and campaigns
• very good linguistic and stylistic ability in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have experience developing communication for employees in partner organizations who meet customers in their daily work and represent a common brand.
